Competency & Training

Managers, supervisors and all personnel must be able to confirm that they have received appropriate safety training to enable them to carry out their tasks, and evidence to this effect must be provided when asked for.

All operatives and supervisors must be in possession of a current and relevant CSR, CSCS, FAS CSCS / Safe Pass or equivalent card relevant to their appropriate skill.

All plant operatives and slingers / banksmen must be in possession of a current plant competency card relevant to the plant being driven, e.g. CSR Plant cards, CPCS, IPAF, or FAS CSCS & Safe Pass category.

Contractors are required to ensure that their employees attend a regular programme of Tool Box Talks on site. McLaughlin & Harvey require you to have documentary proof of these talks.
